Rungestraße Loft Design
The Rungestraße loft project was a collaborative residential project between architect Max Ochel and myself for 'Prop House' in Berlin. The client wanted an open plan, single levelled space with functionality and reference to the buildings past being the soul of the design. From the converted factory space, we developed a concrete ribbon that connected every element together, from the bed to the kitchen; with functionality and purpose. In addition, we developed a bespoke copper pipe installation on the ceiling and walls, which paired up as a heating system and took reference from the buildings industrial past.
